Huong's Journey Into Art

When Huong joined the Art Group, she found something that sparked joy and gave her new ways to express herself: creativity. With a calm smile and a gentle spirit, she began exploring the world of watercolours, finding beauty in the everyday and inspiration in nature.

"The Art Group has helped me to find a love for art and using my creativity in different ways. It has given me the inspiration to create at home in different forms."

Drawing and painting have become more than hobbies. They are part of how Huong nurtures her wellbeing. Every session leaves her feeling uplifted, calm and connected.

"Coming to Art makes me feel happy, calm and relaxed."

Nature's Inspiration

Huong’s art is rooted in the natural world around her, especially the birds and flowers that fill her garden. This quiet joy and admiration for nature give her pieces a sense of softness and warmth.

"My inspiration comes from nature, in particular birds and flowers. Flowers around me in my garden make me happy."

Her favourite medium is watercolour. She enjoys its gentle flow and how it allows for layering and subtle details.

"I love watercolour."

Huong’s Favourite Piece: House on the Hill

This piece holds a special place in Huong’s heart. It is more than a painting. It is a memory and a reflection of home.

"I love this piece as it reminds me of my old house in Targo Street with its beautiful large garden."
