Part 2: Finding The Right Dogs
They run an NDIS organisation, helping people with disabilities. So, they couldn’t just pick the first cute pup they saw. They needed dogs who checked all the boxes.

They needed dogs who were good with people, non-shedding, trained as therapy dogs... and yes, irresistibly cute didn’t hurt either.

Enter months of research, endless dreaming, and a lot of patience. That’s when they found Tamaruke— the top Australian breeder of, well, Tamarukes.

That's us, by the way.
I'm Harry, and I'll hand it over to my cousin Harvey now.
Thanks Harry. So, here’s the thing—they didn’t just choose us. We charmed them. From the moment they laid eyes on us, we had them wrapped around our paws. We were tiny enough to fit in their hands, how could you resist that? After signing a few papers (no idea what those were about— probably boring human stuff), we packed up and moved to our new homes. Harry, you wanna take over the rest? I've got a ball that needs chasing.
Our Mums Michelle and Kahli were on a mission. They weren't just looking for any dogs to complete their family— they needed the perfect fit.
Sounds simple enough, right? Not exactly.

Sure. *Ahem*. So soon enough, Harvey was at his new home in Bundaberg with his mum Kahli, and I was on the Sunshine Coast with my mum Michelle. She and I were instantly soulmates. She even lets me sleep on the bed. Before long, she took me into The Hub. I got to meet all the people there, and surprise surprise, they loved me.

Fast forward a few years and I'm now the receiver of many cuddles, the face of most of the posters that are printed, and protector of the Hub. No postman goes unchecked. Basically, I'm famous. And the same goes for my cousin in the Bundaberg Hub.

But don't just take my word for it. Hear others:
"I love Harry Dog. He makes me feel happy inside. I get to give him a big cuddle and get to pat him when I'm feeling down. He's a good support dog, and he makes everyone's day." (Janine)
